How do I know if I need these certificates?


Follow these instructions to install the certificate on your Android based device.
  1. Click and hold on this link and then choose "Download link"

  2. Name the file securly_ca_2034.crt and touch the Download button.

  3. You will receive a confirmation that you want to download the file, touch the Download button.

  4. Open the Settings app.

  5. Choose "Biometricts and Security."

  6. Choose "Other Security Settings,"

  7. Choose "Install from phone storage."

  8. Chose "CA Certificate."

  9. You will receive a privacy warning, choose "Install anyway."

  10. Choose the folder where you saved the files earlier.

  11. Choose securly_ca_2034.crt. You should then receive a message stating that the certificate has been installed.

  12. Restart your device.

Follow these instructions to install the certificate on your iOS (iphone, iPad) based device.
  1. Please use the Safari browser to complete the following steps.

  2. Click here to download the certificate.

  3. You may receive a message stating "This website is trying to download a configuration profile." Click "Allow."

  4. You will then receive a message stating that "Profile Downloaded" and "Review the profile in Settings app if you want to install it." Tap Close.

  5. Open the Settings app and navigate to General and then VPN & Device Management.

  6. Tap on the downloaded profile named *.securly.com.

  7. Tap on Install.

  8. You will be prompted to enter your screen unlock information.

  9. Tap on Install again.

  10. Tap on Install again.

  11. Navigate to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings and turn Enable Full Trust For Root Certificates to on for *.securly.com.

  12. When prompted with the Root Certificate warning, choose Continue.

  13. Restart your device.

Follow these instructions to install the certificate on your macOS (MacBook) based device.
  1. Please use the Safari browser to complete the following steps.

  2. Click here to download the certificate.

  3. You will notice that your browser has downloaded a file named securly_ca_2034.crt.

  4. Click the downloaded file to run it.

  5. You will be brought to the Add Certificates screen. Choose System under keychain and click Add.

  6. When prompted enter your keychain credentials to add the certificate.

  7. Double click on the certificate and set When using this certificate to Always Trust.

  8. Restart your device.

Follow these instructions to install the certificate on your Windows based device.
  1. Click here to download the certificate.

  2. Click Open.

  3. Click Install Certificate...

  4. Click Local Machine and then click Next.

  5. You may receive a security warning asking if you want to allow it to make changes to your device. Click Yes.

  6. Select Place all certificates in the following store and then choose Browse.

  7. On the Select a Certificate Store window, choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities and then click OK.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Click Finish.

  10. You will receive a message saying that the import was successful. Click OK.

  11. Click OK.

  12. Restart your device.

Follow these instructions to install the certificate on your Chromebook.
  1. Click here to download the certificate.

  2. Open the Chrome web browser.

  3. In the address bar type chrome://settings and press enter.

  4. In the left hand menu select Privacy and Security.

  5. In the list of center of the page menu options choose Security.

  6. Scroll down the page and click on Manage Certificates.

  7. Click on the Authorities tab.

  8. Click Import.

  9. Select the securly_ca_2034.crt file that you downloaded in step 1 and click the Open button.

  10. A Certificate Authority box will pop up. Check all three boxes and then click the OK button.

  11. Restart your device.

You need to install the certificate if you see this error message when accessing certain websites.

The error message displayed if you are missing the cert.  Your connection is not private.
